Improve ship of the line design

In the late 18th century wooden hull design got improved so greatly that building ships of 2000 ton displacement became a rule. Large vessels acquired a peculiar form with boards tilting inside and high aft superstructures with various deck levels descending to midship. Steering wheel ousted tiller and handlebar. The number and durability of ribs increased. Now combat squadrons included large ships of the line, several frigates for reconnaissance functions and messenger vessels.
